Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of GradeSphere ("the Service"), operated by Lokesh Bhatt ("we", "us"), based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

GradeSphere is a school analytics platform that processes student assessment data and inspection documents to generate attainment, progress, and readiness reports. The Service is designed for UAE private schools operating under KHDA and ADEK inspection frameworks.

2. Accounts and access

School accounts are created by GradeSphere after an initial consultation. Each school receives administrator credentials. The school is responsible for managing user access within their account. You must not share login credentials or allow unauthorised access to student data.

3. Data ownership

Your data remains yours. All student data, assessment results, and uploaded documents uploaded to GradeSphere remain the property of the school. We do not claim any ownership or intellectual property rights over your data. You may request a full export of your data at any time. Upon termination, all data is deleted per our Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for legitimate school analytics purposes. You must not upload data that you do not have authorisation to process, attempt to access data belonging to other schools, reverse-engineer the Service, or use the Service to generate misleading reports for inspection or regulatory purposes.

5. AI-generated content

GradeSphere uses artificial intelligence to parse inspection documents and generate narrative summaries. AI-generated content is provided as analytical assistance and should be reviewed by qualified staff before use in official reports or inspection submissions. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated narratives.

6. Pricing and payment

Founding School Programme: Selected schools receive full access for one academic year at no cost, in exchange for feedback and a testimonial. After the founding year, the Service renews at the standard annual rate communicated at the time of enrolment. Payment terms are agreed individually with each school. Prices are quoted in AED (UAE Dirhams).

7. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance windows and updates may cause temporary downtime. We will make reasonable efforts to notify active schools of planned downtime in advance.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service, including but not limited to: inaccurate analytics, data loss, or downtime. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by the school in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the subscription with 30 days written notice. Upon termination, we will provide a data export upon request and delete all school data within the timelines specified in our Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Dubai, UAE.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active school accounts via email at least 30 days before taking effect.
